If, for any reason, you wish to cancel our service within 15 days of purchase as stated on your invoice (also described as the “Signup Date” or “Invoice Date”), please visit our support desk at http://hostzilla.com/support to open a ticket, or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also open a support ticket from inside the client area when you login with your user name and password. In the event of a refund, we will refund the amount of your hosting plan minus the domain name registration fee(s) (if applicable) and a pre-determined setup fee.
PLEASE NOTE: The Money Back Guarantee applies only to hosting services and not the setup fee or domain registration(s)/transfer fee(s). Domain names are tangible assets that we must pay a third-party provider to register in your name. Therefore, once the registration is complete, you own that domain name and the money is unable to be refunded. Please refer to your original invoice for the price of the domain registration fee. If a price for domain registration is not listed, it will be $12.99 USD, provided the domain was successfully registered. This also applies for typos or mistakes you may have made in the domain name registration process. You can determine if the domain was successfully registered by you by looking it up at http://whois.com. The pre-determined setup fee is $29.95 for one year or greater hosting packages, unless otherwise indicated on your original invoice. If you signed up for a hosting plan for less than one year’s time, please refer to your original invoice to find the exact amount of the pre-determined setup fee. If you have any doubts as to what the fees will be, please open a support ticket and ask us. We are happy to tell you ahead of time what the fees will be. Please note you will still have to be within 15 days of the date of purchase to receive a refund. Customer Support responses generally take 24 hours or less.
